Where the grammar came from

Kithara began as seven hand-written variation kits — field manuals for city pop, chamber jazz, piano concertos — refined across hundreds of real Suno sessions. The lessons hardened into a grammar: every section a seven-field piped line, every Styles box a front-loaded priority list, every variation a repaint over a locked skeleton. The studio exists because maintaining those documents by hand stopped scaling, not because the documents stopped working.

That origin still shapes every decision in the product. The kit is a document, because the documents were the thing that worked. The AI drafts inside a schema, because free-form drafts drifted. Guide melodies are validated note-by-note against the chords, because a melody that fights its progression wastes a render. And the app shows you every credit movement, because we wanted to be users of a studio that did.

What Kithara deliberately is not

It is not connected to Suno. No API, no automation, no account linking — by design. Kithara composes; you decide what leaves your workspace, by copying it.

It is not a song generator. Suno renders the audio. Kithara's renders are guide melodies — performances of your score meant to steer Suno's Cover, not finished music.

It is not an autopilot. Every AI action is something you pointed at and priced in credits; every draft is yours to accept, rewrite, or discard; originals are never overwritten.
